A Quiet Place‘s popular star has joined the MCU in a mysterious Avengers: Secret Wars role. The anticipated sequel to Avengers: Doomsday will be helmed by Joe and Anthony Russo and is slated to release in late 2027.

Noah Jupe, known for his roles in A Quiet Place franchise, Hamnet, and The Carpenter’s Son, has been cast in a secret role for Avengers: Secret Wars, according to Deadline.

While the character details are still under wraps, Jupe is expected to play a very important part in Secret Wars’ story. It’s worth noting that Marvel has yet to share an official update on the reported casting.

Besides his movie career, Noah Jupe, 21, is also known for featuring in a famous adaptation of Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet.

Earlier this year, between March and June, he joined the MCU star Sadie Sink in the West End production of Romeo & Juliet. They took on the iconic roles of Romeo and Juliet. Robert Icke (Oedipus) directed the production at the Harold Pinter Theatre.

The ensemble cast of the play also included Jamie Ankrah as Peter, Dylan Corbett-Bader as Benvolio, Eden Epstein as Lady Capulet, Alex Felton as Abraham, Kasper Hilton-Hille as Friar John/Mercutio, Aruna Jalloh as Tybalt, John Marquez as Friar Laurence, Lewis Shepherd as Paris, Caroline Moroney as the Second Servant, and Alexander Uzoka as Gregory, among others.

While there’s no update available on Noah Jupe’s MCU role, trusted insider Daniel Richtman has already made an early speculation.

According to the scooper’s early guess, the actor may end up portraying none other than Franklin Richards, given that he’s expected to have a key part in the story. However, fans should take all unverified rumors and claims with a grain of salt at the moment.

Avengers: Secret Wars will hit theaters on December 17, 2027. The movie is expected to go into production later this year.

While Marvel has yet to announce the official cast, early reports suggest that many familiar faces, including Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Benedict Cumberbatch, Anthony Mackie, Pedro Pascal, Paul Bettany, David Harbour, Sebastian Stan, and Florence Pugh may return.
