LAS VEGAS – No Doubt might have hit its commercial peak last century, but these days, the Southern California band is all about the future.
The quartet of Gwen Stefani, Tony Kanal, Adrian Young and Tom Dumont kicked off their 18-show residency at Sphere Las Vegas on May 6 with a colorful romp through their ska-pop songbook.
The aptly named No Doubt Live at Sphere is in celebration of the band's breakthrough album, 1995's "Tragic Kingdom," which dropped the bouncy "Just a Girl" and melodramatic ballad "Don't Speak."
Those favorites, along with rarities including "Trapped in a Box" and "The Climb," anchored No Doubt's two-hour Las Vegas launch.
Stefani and the band - including two energetic multitaskers on keyboards, horns and backing vocals - sounded tight and looked playful during the show. The Sphere visuals - always a highlight - didn't disappoint with moving images of old yearbook photos, a dip to the bottom of the ocean and a magical mystery carnival ride.
No Doubt was originally inked for six shows at the head-turning venue, but quick sellouts and increased demand led to a dozen more dates being added for May and June.
No Doubt is reuniting for a new residency at Sphere Las Vegas starting May 6, 2026.

The excitement is understandable considering this is the first No Doubt tour since 2009, though they played a seven-night stand in Los Angeles in 2012. But the reaction the band received during its 2024 reunion at Coachella – which Stefani told USA TODAY was "mind blowing" – as well as another brief reunion for the FireAid benefit concert in January 2025 confirmed fans still wanted to dance to "Spiderwebs."
Here are the songs No Doubt played opening night at the Sphere:
