Ferguson quickly corrected the gown's placement leading to a slightly awkward interaction, although a content creator explained context behind the moment

Similar red carpet interactions have occurred recently, particularly during awards season, a time when extravagant gowns have been on display

The Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man premiere was not without a sartorial blip as its cast appeared on the red carpet in New York City.

The film's cast was all on hand for the big event on March 10, and it's there that stars Barry Keoghan and Rebecca Ferguson appeared to have an awkward exchange over fashion.

A video shared by content creator Mickey Blank shows Keoghan, 33, adjusting the train of Ferguson's gown, moving it in front of the skirt so it could appear in photos.

Ferguson, 42, then bends down, seemingly to look at her dress, before gently gesturing to move Keoghan's hand back. He points at the train before giving up the effort to fix the actress' dress. In response, she kicks the fabric back behind her.

Blank provided some context around the moment, writing in her post, "The fabric wasn’t meant to be in the front. When it was moved there she had to fix it quickly before photographers took the photos. Red carpets move very fast. She was just correcting the look."

It's not uncommon for stars to help other stars with their outfits to avoid a wardrobe malfunction. In fact, awards season thus far has seen a few of these situations happen.

During the recent Actor Awards on March 1, PEOPLE was there when host Kristen Bell had some help from friend and costar Jackie Tohn with her Cinderella gown. That same night, Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys had their own sweet moment (seen in a TikTok video posted by Marie Claire) that saw him making sure the actress' dramatic dress was styled perfectly for the cameras.

These interactions haven't been exclusive to friends and couples, though. Red carpet fixture Teyana Taylor and her daughter, Rue, made the nation's heart melt when the the 5-year-old was seen adorably fixing the train of the One Battle After Another star's Thom Browne gown. With the skirt being made of 400,000 sequins and 175,000 beads, we can't blame her!
