Here is a look at upcoming events in Ascension Parish.
Louisiana's Sweet Spot Cocktail Trail: The annual trail begins May 1 and continues until July 31 at participating businesses throughout Ascension Parish.
Highway 621 Outdoor Market: Held every Saturday until the end of July, it will be at 36275 Highway 621, Gonzales.
Ascension Catholic Classic Car Show: The event will be May 16 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Frank Sotile Jr. Pavilion, 2162 D. Thibaut Dr., Donaldsonville.
Music In The Park: The live music event will by May 17 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. in Jambalaya Park, 1015 E. Cornerview St., Gonzales.
Boogie Down The Bayou: The live music event will be May 17 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at VFW Post 3693 in Gonzales.
The Ascension Parish Assessor's Office organized the 2026 car show in the Donaldsonville historic district. The annual event, which featured more than 135 vehicles, was held April 18 in Louisiana Square.
Lunchbox Comedy Festival: The event will be May 23 at the Cabin and Courtyard Events, 5405 Highway 44, Gonzales.
Gonzales Jambalaya Festival: The Memorial Day weekend event will be May 21-24 at the Lamar-Dixon Expo Center.
Memorial Day Parade and Program: The annual Donaldsonville events will be May 25 beginning at 9 a.m. The parade will begin at city hall and end at Louisiana Square for the program.

Memorial Day Ceremony: The annual ceremony will be observed May 25 at 10 a.m. in Ascension Veterans Memorial Park along South Irma Boulevard, Gonzales.
Juneteenth Music Festival: The annual event will be 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. June 13 in Donaldsonville inside Louisiana Square, which is located along the 300 block of Railroad Avenue in the city's historic district.
Miss Gonzales Jambalaya Festival Pageant: The annual pageant will be June 14 at 6 p.m. (children's pageant at 1 p.m.) in the Gonzales Civic Center, 219 S. Irma Blvd., Gonzales.
Ascension Pride: The free event will be June 20 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Lamar-Dixon Expo Center's Trademart Building, 9039 S. St. Landry Ave., Gonzales, LA.
Stars and Stripes: The free celebration at Conway, which will be June 25, beginning at 5:30 p.m., will include music and fireworks.
Dancing For A Cause: The Arc of East Ascension's annual event will be July 11 at 7 p.m. in the Lamar-Dixon Expo Center's REV Center.
