Charlotte Flair Teases Unexpected WWE Storyline: “I Can Be Flirty”

Charlotte Flair has achieved almost everything possible during her WWE career. She is the most decorated female star in WWE history with 14 world title wins. Moreover, her popularity matches her stature. However, there is still one type of storyline The Queen has never been part of.

Flair has never had an on-screen romantic storyline with a male WWE superstar. That could change someday, as the former Women’s Champion recently revealed that she is still interested in trying something like that.

Charlotte Flair opens up about wanting a romantic storyline in WWE

During an appearance on Power Hour with Ilona Maher, Flair was asked about her previous comments regarding a possible romance angle in WWE. She could not say whether WWE currently has any plans for one, but she made it clear that she has already suggested the idea.

“I don’t know. I put it out in the universe. Let’s see if it catches something. I’ve just never been paired with a male or ever had even, like, a ‘Hey.’ So, it’d just be so fun for me,” Flair said.

Maher jokingly suggested that a romance storyline could be a requirement for her to join WWE. She also mentioned wanting some romance in her own life. Charlotte Flair went along with the joke before making it clear that she was talking about a WWE storyline.

Flair also pointed out that some of her fans believe no man could possibly be good enough for her character. She thinks that idea could actually make the storyline even more entertaining.

“A couple of my fans were like, ‘Dude, there’s no one good enough for The Queen.’ And I was like, ‘That’s the greatest line.’ We’re so independent, we don’t need a male. But I just thought it’d be fun to show that, like, ‘Hey, I’m not so cold. I can be flirty,’” Flair added.

The Queen has already shown she can have fun when WWE gives her the chance to explore another side of her personality, especially as evidenced by her recent partnership with Alexa Bliss.
