Danny Booko and Nia Sanchez announced they will not return to Bravo’s The Valley after three seasons
The couple’s announcement follows a tense season with accusations against Booko and his drinking habits

Danny Booko and Nia Sanchez announced they are exiting The Valley.
The married couple of a decade shared the news in a joint Instagram post on Tuesday, Sept. 1. Their announcement comes weeks after season 3 wrapped, with the third part of the reunion airing on Aug. 19.
“We wanted to share a quick update that we will not be returning to The Valley. We’re incredibly grateful for this experience but our priority is protecting our peace and our family,” the post began.
“We are fully committed to each other and our beautiful children.” The couple has four children: 4-year-old son Asher, 3-year-old twin girls Isabelle and Zariah, and 15-month-old daughter Adelaide.

The post continued: “We want to thank everyone for all the love and support you’ve shown us.”
“Thank you to Bravo and the team for everything. We are looking forward to what the next chapter brings. 🤍. With so much love, Danny + Nia,” the post concluded.
Their exit follows the tense season, in which Booko, 42, was accused of inappropriate behavior and excessive drinking. Throughout the season, Booko defended himself against castmates Lala Kent, Janet Caperna, Jason Caperna, Brittany Cartwright and Jasmine Goode.
As Booko faced ongoing criticism, Sanchez, 36, continued to defend him, even as castmates raised concerns about how he spoke to her. During one episode, Booko curtly addressed Sanchez before Kent intervened, the aftermath of which played out throughout the remainder of the season.

After the episode aired, Booko publicly apologized to Sanchez, saying, “Watching these last few episodes back hasn’t been easy. It was a difficult season of life and a version of myself that I’m embarrassed by and not proud of.”
Booko cited “a short fuse, stress, alcohol and lack of sleep” as fuel for arguing with Sanchez over the drag competition, but said these factors were still “not an excuse” for his behavior.
“I should never have taken any of it out on you,” Booko continued. “Balancing parenthood and life can stretch you in ways you don’t fully realize until you see yourself through a different lens. I love, honor, and respect you deeply, and I did not show that in some of these moments.”

The couple’s decision to leave The Valley follows their 2024 conversation with PEOPLE, in which they said their relationship is the priority.
“We’ve always said that we’re going to continue to check in with each other, and our relationship is most important — way more than a show,” Sanchez said at the time. “We’ll just take care of our relationship first. Always.”

Bravo has not yet officially announced a season 4 renewal for The Valley. All three seasons of The Valley are available to stream on Peacock.
