Donald Trump's White House continues to troll Taylor Swift as fans fume 'it's pathetic'

Donald Trump has been feuding with Taylor Swift for years, with the White House escalating the tension thanks to a new social media post.
Swift has been making headlines for weeks thanks to her wedding, with the Cruel Summer hitmaker finally marrying Travis Kelce at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Friday, July 3. Ahead of the big day, the White House took to Instagram to mock the singer by sharing a new take on her Eras Tour poster.
The original poster created for Swift's tour featured colorful panels of pictures throughout her career with the words, "Taylor Swift The Eras Tour," in bold along the bottom. The White House shared their own version on social media, with Trump placed firmly in the middle. They also trolled Swift after she announced she was married to Kelce.

In the White House's poster, the president also appeared in two of the color panels. Other pictures included Neil Armstrong on the moon, the classic shot of ironworkers sitting on a steel beam during the construction of Rockefeller Center, and one of V-J Day in Times Square when a sailor kissed a total stranger to celebrate.
At the bottom of the poster were the words, "America's Eras Tour." The White House captioned the post, "It’s been a long time coming…" referencing a lyric from Swift's song Miss Americana & the Heartbreak Prince.

Swifties weren't happy with the White House trolling and took to the comments to share their annoyance. "I thought Trump said he hated Taylor Swift. Yet, he’s trying to copy her Eras Tour? This is comical," one person hit out.
Another person fumed, "Nice try but just no," as a third critic added, "An original thought would be a first . . ." Over on Reddit, one person slammed Trump and said, "Oh god, it's pathetic."

Someone else echoed, "He is the most pathetic, weak, embarrassing human. He LOVED being accepted by Hollywood/NY before his presidency, and it eats him alive knowing they all hate him now."
The White House didn't stop there as they also shared a post trolling Taylor and Travis after their wedding. The newlyweds announced they'd tied the knot at around 7.30 p.m. on Friday as jumbotron screens outside Madison Square Garden flashed with pink backgrounds and the words, "JUST&T MARRIED!"
The official White House account on X responded by sharing a photo of MSG lit with large pink signs reading, "TRUMP IS YOUR PRESIDENT." The post was captioned, "IT’S HAPPENED!!!"

Once again, the post sparked backlash from Swift's fans. One X user wrote, "Taylor Swift living in Trump’s head rent free," as another blasted, "You guys are so f--king corny it's painful to watch."
Swift has been the subject of repeated criticism of the president. Their feud escalated when Swift endorsed Trump's opponent Kamala Harris for president, saying at the time, "I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos."
Trump hit back on social media as he fumed, "I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!" He also warned the singer she would "pay a price for it in the marketplace." The president mocked Swift again in 2025, writing on Truth Social, "Has anyone noticed that, since I said 'I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,' she’s no longer 'HOT?'"
