Dylan Sprouse is pulling the curtain back on his wife Barbara Palvin’s surprising pregnancy craving.

While TheSuite Life of Zack & Cody alum, 34, and his pregnant model wife, 32, explored newborn essentials with Babylist, the soon-to-be parents openly talked about their journey to parenthood. During the conversation, Sprouse shared the surprising habit that Palvin, who first announced she was expecting back in May, has developed during her pregnancy.

“Her only pregnancy craving, and this is not a joke, has been gambling,” Sprouse said. “She took up sports gambling, and I was like, ‘Why don’t we divert this into something a little more permanent?’ And so she took up ripping Pokémon cards, which is the equivalent of sports gambling, I think.”

He later added, “Long story short, there’s been no food.”

The married couplefirst announced in May that they’re expecting their first baby together while attending the 79th Annual Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France. The couple could be seen posing together in a few photos. Palvin wore a light blue dress which featured cap sleeves and a feather skirt. She posed with her hand under her belly, accentuating her baby bump.

Sprouse could be seen next to his wife, wearing a tuxedo and placing one arm around Palvin.

A few months later, during the debut episode of his new podcast Wildmen, the actor revealed that he and his wife are having a baby girl.

“Do you want to share?” Palvin asked Sprouse during the podcast.

“Yeah, we’ve been calling her principessa,” Sprouse said, revealing that the two are having a girl. “Which I don’t know why that’s been our like...well, it’s Italian for princess.”

“But no, we are having a baby girl, which I’m very excited about,” he continued. “I’m excited to be a girl dad, actually.”

During his sit-down with Amanda Hirsch on her Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, the Beautiful Wedding actor opened up about how he’s “extremely excited” to welcome a baby girl. Sprouse shared that his daughter will be the “first Sprouse girl born in a very long time.”

“We have a very small family in general, but this is the first Sprouse girl in a very long time, which makes me nervous because I come from a family of just boys,” Sprouse explained. “So, my dad can’t really help me understand this.”

“In terms of raising a baby girl, it’s completely unknown to me,” he continued, going on to share why he’s looking forward to welcoming a daughter. “However, I’m very excited because all my buddies who have boys seem like they’re undergoing like a traumatic experience.”
