Gracie Hunt, daughter of Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, celebrated her engagement party with fiancé Derek Green over the weekend

After the party, the couple visited Arrowhead Stadium — where they first met — to “debrief”

Gracie Hunt and her fiancé, Derek Green, visited the place where their love story first began after celebrating their engagement party.

Gracie, 27, who is the daughter of Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, announced her engagement to Derek, the 26-year-old son of former Super Bowl champion quarterback Trent Green, on April 4. More than four months later, the couple gathered with loved ones to celebrate their impending wedding at a party.

Gracie revealed the news of their soirée on Instagram on Sunday, Aug. 30, sharing a clip of herself and Derek standing together in a box at Arrowhead Stadium and looking out over the field. The pair can be seen holding hands, embracing and sharing a kiss as they steal a private moment together after the festivities.

“Engagement party debrief in the place where we met,” Gracie wrote over the video. In the caption of the post, she added, “Of all the places, all the moments — God wrote our story to begin right here. So grateful to have come back to this stadium engaged, surrounded by the people we love. 🤍.”

The bride-to-be’s mom, Tavia Hunt, shared her support in the comments, writing, “Love you two SO MUCH!!❤️😍.”

Gracie also posted some highlights from the party on her Instagram Stories, including a photo of herself and Derek standing with their arms around each other as their loved ones looked on.

“Thank you for the most beautiful and unforgettable engagement party — we feel so incredibly loved and celebrated,” she wrote over the image.

In another snap, Gracie showed off her white dress for the occasion as she posed on a balcony. “The bridal era glow,” she wrote. Yet another photo captured the couple looking into each other’s eyes alongside the message, “Gracie and Derek. It’s a forever type of thing.”

Back in April, Gracie shared a series of photos on Instagram of Derek’s romantic proposal, which took place under an outdoor altar. The groom-to-be set the stage with a long pathway lined with candles and white flowers.

One photo showed Derek down on one knee as he proposed to Gracie, and another captured him wiping away tears. Friends and family — including the couple’s parents — gathered to witness the special moment, and they could be seen smiling with excitement and snapping pictures on their phones.

A close-up photo showed Gracie’s emerald-cut engagement ring, encrusted with white diamonds along the band and an emerald-green stone.

“It was always you 💍❤️♾️,” Gracie wrote in the post’s caption.

Gracie hard-launched her romance with Derek on Instagram in May 2025. In a post shared months later in July 2025, she revealed that the pair had been “friends since 2017.”

Since her engagement, Gracie has been sharing wedding planning updates here and there, including a glimpse of a celebration where she asked 14 women in her inner circle to be her bridesmaids.

In a clip of the event shared on Instagram, the group enjoyed brunch with Gracie at an elaborately decorated table.“Some of God’s greatest gifts in my life have been the women who have walked beside me through every season 🤍 #Evergreen,” Gracie wrote in her caption, revealing her wedding hashtag.
