- The retired NFL tight end was exiting the men’s room when he he heard a voice call out, “Hey, hey dude.”

- Olsen said he and Cruise ended up having “a two or three-minute conversation.”

Tom Cruise may have been the biggest star at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding, but it sounds like he was also one of the most down to earth.

Greg Olsen, former NFL tight end and the groom’s longtime friend, dished on attending the “event of the century” on his podcast, *Youth Inc.*, and revealed meeting the *Mission: Impossible* superstar was one of the highlights.

“It’s hard to really put into words the people that you would see in line in the bathroom and people you would see in line at the bar,” said Olsen, who cofounded Tight End University with Kelce. “You’re kind of like, ‘What am I even doing here? What is this circle?’”

During the cocktail hour at Madison Square Garden, Olsen recalled walking out of the restroom when he heard a man’s voice calling out, “Hey, hey… dude, I love your hat.”

The retired athlete — who was wearing a wide-brimmed black hat and dark gray tuxedo jacket — turned around to see the fashion compliment had been paid by an action hero famous for daredevil stunts like scaling the 2,722-foot Burj Khalifa.

“I was like, ‘Thank you, man. How nice is it to meet you,* Tom Cruise*,’” Olsen said. “And like, you know, you’re walking out of the bathroom with Tom Cruise and he goes out of his way to compliment your hat and then you have a two or three-minute conversation, amongst a million other people and athletes and entertainers and musicians.”

Considering all this took place just outside the men’s room, Olsen stressed to his podcast listeners, “I did wash my hands, thankfully, before I shook his hand. But that was kind of a like a ‘did I just shoot the s–- with Tom Cruise?’”

Olsen, who attended the star-studded bash with his wife Kara, added that most of Swift and Kelce’s famous loved ones had their guards down that evening.

“They’re just happy to connect, introduce themselves,” he explained. “Some people know each other, some people don’t know each other. So, you know, just a really unique crowd of fun people. But I think the environment that was created — no phones, no cameras — everyone could just be themselves, enjoy the night, enjoy Travis and Taylor.”

Olsen and Cruise were just two of the approximately 1,000 people in attendance, including Hollywood heavyweights like Brad Pitt, Steven Spielberg, Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Lopez, Bradley Cooper and his girlfriend Gigi Hadid, Paul Rudd, and Hugh Grant.
