The episode, called, "Gary," focuses on Mikey, the late brother of "The Bear's" main character, Carmen Berzatto. It's a prequel about a trip Richie and Mikey take to Gary, Indiana.

The episode was written by Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Jon Bernthal, who also star in it.

In "The Bear," Moss-Bachrach portrays Carmen's cousin Richie, while Bernthal plays the character of Mikey.

That includes trying to re-invent Mikey's restaurant, "The Beef," located in Chicago, IL.
