As the U.S.-Iran conflict resumes, President Donald Trump's approval ratings remain underwater with Americans.
Several recent polls show widespread negative approval ratings for Trump, reaching as high as 61% in a poll from The Economist/YouGov.
After Trump declared a ceasefire with Iran "over" at a NATO summit in Turkey on Wednesday, July 8, the U.S. and Iran once again traded attacks in the Middle East, USA TODAY reported. Trump shared footage of U.S. strikes in Iran on social media.
Real Clear Politics, which aggregates polling data, showed Trump with an overall "disapproval" rating of 56.6% and 40.8% approval through July 8.
