Jennifer Lopez is opening up about her divorce from Marc Anthony.
During the Friday, March 6 show at her Up All Night Las Vegas residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, the "On the Floor" singer told the audience "a little story" about the aftermath of her and Anthony's breakup.
"After my third divorce, that's when I really started getting good at it," Lopez joked at first, per a video shared on Instagram.
"It was actually a really tough time," she said. "I was really about to give up on it all. I mean, I was a single mom, with two 3-year-old twins." She and Anthony share twins Emme and Max.
Lopez, wearing a shimmery magenta gown with matching gloves and boa, said she called one of her mentors, the late self-help author Louise Hay, during this difficult period.

"She said to me, 'Jennifer, you’re a dancer, right?'" Lopez said from the stage. "I said, 'Yes, I am.' And she said, 'When you're learning a dance and you get the steps wrong, what do you do?' I said, 'I just keep going until I get the steps right.' And she said, 'That's right Jennifer. Always keep dancing.'"
Lopez then addressed The Colosseum audience. "And I wish the same for each and every one of you — that no matter what life throws at you, that you dance, and you dance, and you dance, again, again and again."
"I love you so much!" she concluded.

"We have decided to end our marriage," they said in July 2011. "This was a very difficult decision. We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters. It is a painful time for all involved, and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time." Their divorce was finalized in 2014.
