Kate Middleton is rocking a new accessory from someone special: her daughter, Princess Charlotte.
On July 6, the Princess of Wales, 44, visited Evelina London Children’s Hospital and wore a friendship bracelet on her left wrist.
Royal editor Rebecca English of the Daily Mail confirmed on X that the green, blue and white string bracelet was made for Princess Kate by her 11-year-old daughter, Princess Charlotte, to celebrate Kate completing the National Three Peaks Challenge a week and a half ago.
On Saturday, June 28, and Sunday, June 29, the Princess of Wales secretly tackled the ambitious challenge of scaling the three highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales within 24 hours, and she was met by her family at the end in an emotional moment.

Princess Kate embraced the endeavor to support The Royal Marsden Charity, the charity of the hospital where she previously received treatment for cancer, and to highlight what life beyond cancer can look like.
The Princess of Wales announced in March 2024 that she was undergoing treatment for cancer and shared in January 2025 that she was in remission after visiting the Royal Marsden. That outing came with the announcements that Kate previously received care there during her cancer journey and that she and Prince William were the new joint patrons of the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust.
Photos shared to Princess Kate and Prince William’s official Instagram on July 5 also showed that she was wearing the friendship bracelet when she completed the Three Peaks Challenge at Mount Snowdon in Wales, a fitting finale for the Princess of Wales.

Kate completed some of that climb with her brother, James Middleton, who shares her passion for the outdoors and later revealed on social media that they “talked about climbing mountains while you were in hospital.”
Kensington Palace said that Kate was met at the end by her husband William, their children Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, 8, her parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, and her brother, James, and photos showed that she had an emotional reunion with Charlotte in particular.

Charlotte appeared emotional in a tender moment with her mom at the base of the trail in a photo shared to the Prince and Princess of Wales’ Instagram carousel, and a following shot showed Kate wrapping her daughter in a warm hug.

The mother-daughter duo seems to share a tight bond, and Kate is the newest royal family member to debut a friendship bracelet made by Charlotte.
She joins a club including Prince William, Prince George and King Charles, who have worn friendship bracelets confirmed or believed to have been crafted by Charlotte. The fad began in the summer of 2024, around when Charlotte headed to one of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour shows in London with William and George, where they met the singer and her now-husband Travis Kelce backstage.
A friendship bracelet craze trended then in reference to a lyric in one of Swift’s songs during her global Eras Tour, and Prince William recently revealed that his only daughter is “obsessed” with the pop superstar.
