Comedian Kathy Griffin has once again slammed former *The View* cohost Elisabeth Hasselbeck, 16 years after the latter attempted (and failed) to surprise Griffin with an unexpected confrontation during a live interview on the ABC talk show.

In a new YouTube video Griffin shared Tuesday, the comedian and *New Face, New Tour* stand-up star reflected on the 2010 exchange with Hasselbeck, which has long served as the basis for material in Griffin's comedy shows.

Griffin said in the video that she spoke about her time on *The View* on recent stops of her ongoing tour, including "about when they had that pain in the ass, indignantly stupid Elisabeth Hasselbeck, they had her back for a week" on the air earlier this year.

"I didn’t watch any of it, I just thought the whole thing was funny," Griffin added of Hasselbeck's temporary return, which saw her fill in for Alyssa Farah Griffin while she was on maternity leave.

Griffin, who also returned to *The View* for an interview in recent weeks, then suggested the *Survivor* alum is currently a has-been, saying in the video, "I, of course, made fun of Hasselbeck for years, and some of you young folks might not even know who she was. You heard me: was."

"I still make fun of her because she tried to one-up me on a fight," Griffin said, before playing for her audience a clip from the 2010 exchange that saw Hasselbeck confront Griffin on the air about making jokes about the cohosts that she felt weren't true or funny.

“Actually, this moment is what I live here, so, bring it” Griffin said at the time, with the show's studio audience erupting with applause as she continued, telling Hasselbeck, “This is how I write my act."

"Come on, even the home audience of *The View, *who showed up not to see me, but to see the ladies of *The View*, applauded," Griffin said in her new video. "She was, I could tell, very thrown that he audience went with me. I was very thrown. So, that made some headlines!"

In recent weeks, Griffin has made jokes about other conservative figures, including ex-*View* star and controversial political commentator Meghan McCain, whom she said was an "annoying c---" in a separate YouTube video. (A representative for McCain had no comment when reached by EW.)

Griffin has also made jokes about other matters related to *The View *over the years, including allegedly being banned (and later, as she said, un-banned) from appearing on the talk show after — among other things — revealing in a stand-up special that creator Barbara Walters once shared with her backstage that she prefers Astroglide personal lubrication.
