- Lena Dunham gave a speech at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding reception and reportedly drew "gasps and laughs" with an off-color joke.

- "American football is just straight guys reenacting gay porn," cracked the *Girls* creator, according to the *Daily Mail*.

- At Dunham's 2021 wedding, Swift toasted her pal and new husband Luis Felber with "a really sweet speech."

Something old, something new, something borrowed, something off-color?

Lena Dunham reportedly made jaws drop during her toast to Taylor Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce at their wedding reception, when she joked "American football is just straight guys reenacting gay porn," according to the *Daily Mail**.*

The crude crack evoked both "gasps and laughs" from the crowd of 1,000, which included the groom's brother, retired Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt, former teammate JuJu Smith-Schuster, San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle, and Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Cooper Kupp.

There were also several NFL coaches in attendance at Madison Square Garden, most notably embattled Mike Vrabel of the New England Patriots.

The bride wasn't blushing, however. According to the *Daily Mail*'s source, Swift deemed Dunham's polarizing joke "genius."

Representatives for Dunham did not immediately respond to EW's request for comment.

The *Girls* creator's awkward moment on the mic would cap off a potentially uncomfortable 24 hours in the same room with her ex-boyfriend Jack Antonoff, Swift's longtime music collaborator. The two, who split in 2017 after five years together, both attended Thursday's intimate rehearsal dinner at MSG's Infosys Theater as well as the star-studded wedding and reception in the main arena on Friday.

Dunham and Antonoff have both remarried, although it's unclear if either of their spouses joined them at the Swift-Kelce wedding extravaganza.

The music producer's fashion designer sister, Rachel Antonoff, was his plus-one at the rehearsal dinner instead of his wife, Golden Globe-nominated actress Margaret Qualley, whom he married in 2023. Two years earlier, Dunham wed British-Peruvian musician Luis Felber.

Swift was in attendance at both events — and she even toasted Dunham and her new husband at their September 2021 nuptials in London.

The "Opalite" singer "gave a really sweet speech celebrating them as a couple and congratulating them," reported *The Sun* at the time. "Lena looked so happy that she was there. Obviously Taylor has a crazy schedule and it's not normal for her to just nip down to Soho, so she was thrilled she took the time out to come."

Dunham's speech may not have had the exact same effect at Swift's wedding, but she did recently sing the popstar's praises in the acknowledgements of her book, *Famesick: A Memoir*.

"Tay Tay-you sing the songs I wrote this book to, the stories that pulled these stories out of me, the music that makes the whole world feel seen, and yet somehow, miraculously, you also pick up every desperate call at every desperate hour," Dunham gushed. "I love you so much and forever, for the reasons that everyone does and for reasons all my own."
