Seven islanders were dumped from the Fiji villa over the weekend on Love Island USA

Five people were dumped on the Friday, July 3 episode, followed by another two on Sunday, July 5

Love Island USA season 8 is entering its final week

The Love Island USA villa started the weekend with 19 islanders and is now down to 12.

On the Friday, July 3 episode, five islanders were dumped after a recoupling and a villa vote. Bombshell Jen Terry was the first to be dumped after Gal Tshnieder, with whom she coupled up during Casa Amor, chose to couple up with Amora Robinson instead.

After Jen packed her things and left the villa, though, host Ariana Madix brought the islanders back to the fire pit and revealed that they would each have to vote for the two least compatible couples.

As a brand-new couple, Amora and Gal received the most votes from their fellow islanders. The second couple dumped after the vote was Jaiden Bacciocco and Caleb McDaniel, after four couples voted them as the least compatible.

Friday’s episode marked the biggest dumping of the season so far, with five departures. All of the dumped islanders appeared on Aftersun on Saturday, July 4, where they debriefed their experience in the villa with hosts Ciara Miller and Tefi Pessoa.

In footage shown on Aftersun, Jen laughed when she learned that Gal and Amora had been dumped and would be joining her in the return to the outside world after Gal was responsible for her exit.

The dumping kept coming on Sunday, July 5. The villa was still reeling from the five exits the night before, and many of the couples had a lot to discuss after they received votes naming them as least compatible from their fellow islanders.

They had some fun before the chaos, though, with the show’s first-ever karaoke challenge. Parmida and Corbin kicked things off with Nelly’s “Dilemma,” followed by KC and Titi, who sang “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,” then Zach and Kayda performed “Endless Love.”

Melanie and Sincere were next up and performed “You’re The One That I Want,” followed by Carl and Aniya, who sang “Señorita,” Bryce and Trinity, who sang “No Air,” and Dylan and Kenzie, who were the grand finale with a performance of “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart.”

After Dylan and Kenzie were crowned the winners of the karaoke challenge, Ariana revealed that one couple would be sent home as the audience had been voting.

The couples left vulnerable were Zach and Kayda, Dylan and Kenzie, and Parmida and Corbin. Dylan and Kenzie’s win saved them from the dumping, though, which left Zach and Kaya, and Parmida and Corbin vulnerable.

The rest of the couples then had to vote to save one couple, and Parmida and Corbin were sent home after only KC and Titi opted to save them.

After exiting the villa, Corbin confirmed that he and Parmida will continue to explore their connection in the outside world.

New episodes of Love Island USA air every day except Wednesday on Peacock at 9 p.m. ET.
