During the most recent episode of The View, Marjorie Taylor Greene drew a parallel between Taylor Swift's tour and Donald Trump's Great American State Fair.
Greene, who has made numerous appearances on the ABC show, departed from her position with Trump in January 2026 following his public criticism of her for advocating the release of the Epstein files. She is now appearing on The View to address his recent actions and draw a connection between the Eras Tour and the Great American State Fair.
Her appearance comes after the popular daytime talk show received criticism after Zohran Mamdani's comments the previous day.

When questioned about the White House's remarks regarding Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding, the former Trump aide told the panel, "I think it is absurd for the 80-year-old president to attack one of the most popular musicians, who is so generous to her staff."
She then delivered a pointed jab, "Her concerts turnout, massive amount of people. A lot more people than, tragically, the state fair. I think that says a lot."

The Great American State Fair, which operated for 16 days on the National Mall to commemorate America's 250th anniversary, proved to be a significant disappointment for Trump when attendance fell short of projections. Reports from the event showed minimal turnout, reports the Mirror US.
Greene's previous appearance on The View was earlier this year on January 7, merely two days after stepping down from her congressional position.
During her appearance before the panel, she outlined her future plans, telling the crew, "I love my family way too much, and I do not want my sweet district to have to endure a hurtful and hateful primary against me by the president that we all fought for only to fight and win my election, while Republicans will likely lose the midterms and in turn, be expected to defend the president against impeachment after he hatefully dumped 10s of millions of dollars against me and tried to destroy me."

The rift with Trump emerged following Greene's advocacy for the release of documents tied to the Jeffrey Epstein sex crime investigation, coupled with her vocal disapproval of several of the president's recent policy decisions.
During her January appearance before the panel, she stated: "He was angry at me because I signed the discharge petition and refused to take my name off the discharge petition," and "We were being demanded to take our name off of the discharge petition."
She further noted that it was this defiance that prompted Trump to label her a traitor.
Meanwhile, Trump is currently in Ankara, Turkey, attending a NATO summit, where he has already held meetings with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoan and other NATO leaders.
The gathering comes amid mounting unease among allied nations over Trump's longstanding grievances regarding NATO members' military expenditure and their commitment to the US alliance, given his well-documented unpredictability.
The summit addressed several pressing issues, including Trump's drive for NATO allies to boost defense spending, sustained backing for Ukraine, and the continuing U.S. conflict with Iran, which shares a border with Turkey.
