Melania Trump shared photos of a race car being transported into the White House Rose Garden via a crane on Wednesday, Sept. 2

The news comes as the Trump administration continues to make several renovations to the White House, including a proposed 90,000-square-foot ballroom

Melania Trump has revealed a new addition to the White House Rose Garden.

The first lady, 56, shared in a post on X on Wednesday, Sept. 2 that an American race car had entered the historic outdoor space — which was completely redesigned last summer — for the first time, posting photos of the car’s “delicate arrival” via crane.

One of the images posted by Melania showed the red vehicle, which had white stars and the words “Fostering the Future” written on one side, hovering above the White House on a crane as it was being transported.

Another picture showed a different angle of the car and its detailing, as it was dropped into the Rose Garden. The photo showed a white shark fin with the words “Fostering the Future” on the top of the car and “Freedom 250 Grand Prix” on the side in white lettering, referring to America’s recent anniversary.

A final shot showed a crew of at least three people both in front and behind the car placing it in its final position, before it was detached from the crane.

Melania established Fostering the Future — an initiative that secures scholarship opportunities at colleges and universities across the nation for former foster youth — in 2021.

“To celebrate IndyCar and Fox Corporation’s historic $2M funding of Fostering the Future Scholarships, an American racecar entered the Rose Garden for the first time,” Melania captioned the X post.

“Transporting a precision racing machine to one of America’s most historic venues required meticulous planning and coordination. We ensured flawless operation, with zero tolerance for error,” she added.

Melania’s post came as President Donald Trump, 80, continues to make several changes both inside and outside the White House. The construction projects have an estimated price tag of at least $900 million, according to records reviewed by The Washington Post.

Earlier this week, it was reported that Trump was planning to upgrade the White House’s exclusive two-lane bowling alley, per Politico.

The outlet claimed that contractor Charles Mann Enterprises had been awarded over $250,000 by the General Services Administration (GSA) with support from Trump’s Executive Office.

Nearly $250,000 will be used for lighting work on the two-lane Harry S. Truman Bowling Alley, Politico noted, citing public contract awards. An additional $8,800 will be used for escort services related to the project, which involves accompanying outside workers through secure areas.

The outlet added that Charles Mann Enterprises — a Washington-based construction management company founded by former NFL player Charles Mann — had been awarded a separate $878,000 contract for an Eisenhower Executive Office Building (EEOB) basement studio project on Aug. 18. ​Although the bowling alley is in the EEOB basement, it is unclear whether the $878K contract is related to the alley upgrades.

The president’s other renovation projects also include the proposed 90,000-square-foot ballroom in the East Wing of the White House, as well as a new visitor screening center, proposed by the Secret Service and National Park Service.
