Millie Bobby Brown has been a star from a young age, but there's one role she didn't get that she still thinks about.
The Enola Holmes 3star, 22, appeared with her costar Louis Partridge, 23, on the July 1 edition of Entertainment Weekly's "Lie vs Lie," where the two tried to guess whether each other's stories were true or false.
When asked to tell her best audition story, Brown revealed that she once screen-tested with Hugh Jackman at 11 or 12 for one of "the Wolverine movies."

She shared that, after finishing the audition, she felt "broken."
"I felt like I probably didn't get it because I think there was someone else that was better," Brown recalled.
Partridge ultimately believed Brown's story to be true, pointing to the fact that there would have been a part for her in the 2017 film Logan as X-23, which ultimately went to then-11-year-old Dafne Keen.

Brown then confirmed the story was true and said she was trying to throw Partridge off by calling it one of the "Wolverine movies."

While she didn't land that particular role, the actress ultimately explored the sci-fi and supernatural world through Netflix's Stranger Things, in which she starred as Eleven for five seasons.
Brown marked the end of filming in a December 2024 Instagram post, sharing a series of photos from her years on the show and a video of her emotional speech on her last day on set, likening the day to graduation.

“Isn't graduation supposed to bring relief? Like you're glad to leave behind the teachers and classmates. Not me. I am nowhere near ready to leave you guys," said Brown in the clip. "I love each and every one of you and I will forever carry the memories and bonds we created together as a family. I love you, thank you."
While starring on the Netflix series, Brown also juggled roles in Enola Holmes, Damsel, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, and more.
