The Philadelphia 76ers were able to have Kyle Lowry on their roster for the final 2.5 seasons of his career before the 20-year veteran called it quits in the league. The Philadelphia native put together one helluva career while playing for the Memphis Grizzlies, Houston Rockets, Toronto Raptors, Miami Heat, and the Sixers.
Of course, Lowry made the biggest impact of his career in Toronto. He was a 6-time All-Star with the Raptors, was named to the All-NBA Third Team in 2016, and helped lead the franchise to its first and only championship in 2019. He was phenomenal throughout his career, but with the Raptors, it was just different.
With Lowry officially retiring through an Instagram video, his Sixers teammates shared it on their Instagram stories. Tyrese Maxey added "HIM" to his story while VJ Edgecombe simply added a heart to show his love and appreciation for Lowry. Former Sixer Trendon Watford expressed his appreication for Lowry with a message.

Lowry was on the downside of his career when he joined the Sixers, but his impact was felt. He was instrumental in helping Maxey, Edgecombe, and even Joel Embiid with his wisdom, no-nonsense style, and veteran leadership that proved to be important.
