Amon-Ra St. Brown and Brooklyn Adams are heading down the aisle!
The wide receiver for the Detroit Lions and his high school sweetheart, both 26, announced their engagement in a joint Instagram post on Tuesday, July 7.
The post began with a photo of Adams sporting a huge diamond engagement ring while holding hands with St. Brown at sunset, along with the caption, “Hard launch.”
The couple appeared in several other photos from their proposal, with St. Brown getting down on one knee and presenting Adams with a ring on a yacht. Both wore matching white outfits — St. Brown in a white T-shirt and pants and Adams in a white mini dress — with white roses in the background.
In another photo, Adams appeared emotional while embracing St. Brown soon after the proposal. The newly engaged couple was also snapped kissing on the yacht under the sunset and St. Brown was seen picking up Adams as she flashed her ring.
In one video shared, the deck of the boat was seen decorated with white roses as a man in a suit played the violin. The camera panned over to Adams, who jumped up and down excitedly while showing off her engagement ring. The camera finally zoomed in on a smaller boat passing by with passengers waving in congratulations to the couple.

“LETS GOOOOOO!!!!!! Congrats you two 🫶🏼❤️,” wrote actor Taylor Lautner in the comments section.
Adams posted more photos on her Instagram Stories of her posing with her engagement ring and embracing St. Brown again on the yacht shortly after the proposal. She was also seen holding hands with St. Brown again while flaunting her diamond sparkler.

St. Brown and Adams began dating shortly after meeting each other during their sophomore year of high school. In December 2025, the couple purchased a home together in Michigan after Adams graduated from nursing school in August 2024.
In February, St. Brown opened up to PEOPLE about his 10-year relationship with Adams, saying, “People either fall in love or they don’t. I think for me, it’s just being myself. You can’t please everyone at the end of the day. And that’s with everyone. So, for me, it’s just being myself each and every day.”
He added of having Adams supporting his NFL career, “It’s been amazing having my girl by my side. My family has been so supportive of me throughout my career.”
