Blake Lively is seemingly rising from the ashes of her lawsuit with Justin Baldoni, according to Ryan Reynolds.
The actor shared a smiling selfie with his wife on Tuesday, one day after news that she and her *It Ends With Us* director and costar Baldoni, 42, reached a settlement before going to trial.
In the photo shared to Instagram Stories, Lively, 38, could be seen beaming as she cradled Reynolds' head. The *Deadpool* star attached the 1978 Millie Jackson song "Here You Come Again" to the post, which features the lyrics: "Here you come again lookin' better than nobody has a right to and shakin' me up so that all I really know is here you come again, and here I go."
Lively shared the photo to her Instagram Stories, as well, adding a heart emoji.
Reynolds, 49, also reposted a video from *British Vogue* of Lively at the 2026 Met Gala in an archival pastel Atelier Versace gown from spring 2006, which featured a billowing 13-foot-long train. She attended the event on Monday, hours after news hit that her and Baldoni's lengthy legal battle had come to an end.
The bitter feud unfolded in full view for nearly two years after Lively and Baldoni first sparked rumors of tension amid the* It Ends With Us* press tour in the summer of 2024. Then, in December of that year, Lively filed a complaint against Baldoni with the California Civil Rights Department alleging sexual harassment and his coordination of a smear campaign against her.

He responded by filing a countersuit against Lively and Reynolds, in January 2025, demanding $400 million in damages and accusing them of defamation, civil extortion, breach of contract, and other offenses. Baldoni's lawsuit was thrown out by a judge in June.
After Judge Lewis Liman dismissed 10 of Lively's 13 claims, including allegations of sexual harassment, defamation, and conspiracy against Baldoni in June, a trial was set for this month that would have focused on her claims of breach of contract, retaliation in violation of the California Fair Employment and Housing Act, and aiding and abetting in retaliation in violation of FEHA.
