The eccentric crime-solving trio is on the case again in The Marlow Murder Club Season 3. PBS' cosy mystery comedy-drama, based on Robert Thorogood's series of novels set in the English town of Marlow, Buckinghamshire, will return with its third season on September 6. Season 3 debuted in the UK in March 2026.

The Marlow Murder Club follows a retired archaeologist, a dogwalker and a stay-at-home mum, who form a crime-solving trio following the murder of two people in their Buckinghamshire town of Marlow. After proving their worth to Detective Sergeant Tanika Malik, who leads local investigations, they are hired as official civilian advisors.

The Marlow Murder Club Season 3 will mark the return of the titular group, along with DS Tanika, who will solve three new murder mysteries. The upcoming six-episode season will feature three cases, split across two 45-minute episodes each.

The primary additions to The Marlow Murder Club Season 3 cast are the returning actors Samantha Bond, Jo Martin, Cara Horgan and Natalie Dew. Here's a deep dive into their characters:

Samantha Bond as Judith Potts: The crossword writer and retired archaeologist leads the titular crime-solving trio. A chance gunshot sound from her neighbour's house pushed Judith into a harrowing murder mystery and led to the formation of the titular group, who will solve more twisted cases in Season 3. Samantha Bond is best known for playing Moneypenny in the James Bond films and her roles in series such as Downton Abbey and The Inheritance.

Cara Horgan plays Becks Starling: As a stay-at-home mother and wife of the local vicar, Becks was struggling to fit into her community until she stumbled upon Judith and her crime-solving group. Becks eventually became an integral part of the show and will return for more adventures in the upcoming season. Cara Horgan is best known for her roles in PBS' Grantchester and Netflix's The Sandman.

Jo Martin plays Suzie Harris: Martin is the next returning star in The Marlow Murder Club Season 3 cast. She plays the dog-walker and single mother Suzie Harris, who becomes embroiled in Judith's crime-solving adventure. Jo Martin is best known for playing Fugitive Doctor in Doctor Who and has also appeared in series such as Fleabag and Top Boy.

Natalie Dew as Tanika Malik: Lastly, Dew will reprise her character of Detective Sergeant with the Marlow police in the upcoming season. While Tanika Malik is the official in charge of the investigations, she appreciates the titular club and relies on their skills.
