Traitors star Freddie Fraser opens up about recently realising he is bisexual

The Traitors participant Freddie Fraser has discussed his sexuality, revealing that he recognised he was bisexual approximately "six or seven months ago".

The 22-year-old separated from Nisha Davenport, his girlfriend of three years, last July following his stint on the third series of the hit BBC show.

In August, Fraser confirmed his relationship with male model Bailey Ramsden after publishing photos of the pair on social media. Speaking on the Not My Bagg podcast, the reality television star explained that he took time to explore his sexuality after becoming single again.

He said: "I, kind of, realised I was bisexual maybe about six months ago, seven months ago, so, it’s kind of a new thing.

"I think when you’re out of the school structure as well… it feels like easier to do because it’s not like I’m in school and there’s more opinions and stuff like that."

Fraser noted that people had previously assumed he was gay owing to his fashion sense and having been raised around women.

He added: "Now me having a boyfriend, to begin with, I was like I almost don’t want to do it, because then I’m proving them right."

The star explained that Ramsden messaged him on Instagram, leading to a date where the pair hit it off. They have since shared snippets of their relationship online and attended the Practical Magic 2 premiere in London last week.

Fraser began his time on The Traitors as a faithful and became a traitor later on in the series. He reached the final six before being banished by his fellow competitors.

That series was won by Jake and Leanne, who were crowned as the joint winners, taking home £47,300 each. Despite both being Faithfuls, they still chose to banish Charlotte, Alexander and Frankie in the last episode.
