Xfinity's broadband internet is experiencing issues the morning of July 4, according to the Downdetector website.
Thousands of Xfinity customers are being affected, the company's outage map showed at 9:30 a.m.
The company is working to restore network service by 11:20 a.m., according to an 8:31 a.m. alert sent to some users in Delaware.

At 9:39 a.m., the Xfinity outage map showed service in Delaware would be restored by 11:20 a.m. for some but by 12:35 p.m. for others.
Customers may check for outages and the expected time of service repair in their area at xfinity.com/support/statusmap.
